
A more inspirational package holiday

BACKGROUND:
The pandemic changed the way we travel, making security a top priority. Ready-packaged and flexible, but sometimes perceived as outdated, not particularly flexible and sometimes targeted mostly at families. How can TUI simplify the booking process of package holidays and offer a more inspiring experience than competing travel agencies?
INSIGHT:
As one of the first travel agencies in Sweden to offer charter travel since the 1960s, TUI is widely seen as a trustworthy choice. However, its website lacks inspirational elements and exploration options—key aspects of the travel experience that many users seek.
IDEA:
Search results based on interests and activities which you can reserve before your trip for the curious traveller who like to explore destinations.
PROCESS & WIREFRAMES
Through comprehensive research conducting interviews with our target group “The Curious” we came up with a solution which makes it easier to explore destinations based on interests. Insights such as “I want to be able to reserve activities when I go away for a weekend but maybe not when I go on longer trips” was key when designing the prototype.
